How do I make it sound like this..

I have this same game, except it's with different graphics. When he hits his handpay, the BAR BAR Double Double Diamond symbol the machine makes a distinctive win sound, that normally doesn't come up unless a decent win hits.  I'm using DSV 42, how do I make it sound like that when I hit a win.

When you say different graphics what do you mean? Is it the same game or a different one?
Assuming you have the sound settings to multi media and preferred melody it may be a question of which SB chip are you using?

The sound played on that video is the sound the machine will only make on a handpay situation.  If you hit a win $1,200 or over, it will make that sound.  If your denom is too low to win $1,200 or more on a spin, the only time it will make that sound is if you hit the top award.

I've hit handpays many times on my machine it doesn't make that sound. I've tinkered with the handpay music or legacy sound but that still doesn't cause that sound to play when you first hit a handpay. How do I do that? I'm using SB 1000 with an SS ship.

What is the theme and how many credits?
I believe you will need to move to the S2000 SB chip for your theme in place of SB1000 SS chip you are using. Double double diamond 2 coin is SB100196 and three coin is SB100816.

I currently have Double Double Dollars 3CM,  SS6205,  what is the SB chip for this one? Also, just using an SB chip and no SS chip, doesn't that require a clear key? I do have a clear key but I don't know how to do it, if it's required. What are the added perks of just using an SB chip and not SB 1000 with an SS?  And yes, it's the sound in the video that sounds like a congratulation sound then goes to DINK DINK DINK DINK...


Also, being that the game bible only shows SS chips, where do I find the assigned SB chips for certain games?

I'm with Qbert on this one.  I've never used an SS chip on an S2000.  I've always just sourced the correct SB chip to go with the game, that being said, the SS chip with the "generic" SB1000 chip should make the dink dink dink sound.  What does your machine do on a handpay?

I HAVE a multimedia board installed with DSV 42..... I have SB 1000 with SS 6205, I have the option in handpay sounds to do preferred music or Legacy (Dink Dink Dink Dink);   But still don't get that sound upon hitting a handpay, that is in the video.  If I want the SB chip for Double Double Dollars 3CM, where do I find it, and how do I find a game bible that lists SB chips and not SS chips... Double Double Diamond and Double Double Dollars are exact same payouts and reel stops, I'm assuming, but are different graphics.
