S2000 Printer Issue or Board Issue or Other?????

I keep running into this so I assume its probably a common thing and I wondered if someone could get me a conclusive answer.


When I am key chipping an S2000 and I get to the Printer option, I go to Enable the printer and it gives you this long pause with a Netplex on the display message then it automatically goes back to the disable display and won't enable the printer.


Is this a printer problem or a board problem or something else.


I have worked around it swapping both out and done it multiple times usually to find a combination that works but figured if someone had a simple answer that would save me a ton of time swapping out one or the other that might be being done needlessly, that would be helpful.
