Bally 1090 not paying out (newbie)

Hi everyone.  I'm new to slot machines and need your help.  So i bought a bally 1090 nickel slot machine last week.  Was working perfectly.  I had a get together and friends were playing it.  One person hit the jackpot.  The machine started paying out but ran out of coins.  When it ran out, it tripped the safety behind the hopper.  I reset that and the slot machine worked.  But now whenever you win, it doesnt pay out any coins, not even one. 


Is there an easy fix or should i bring it in?


Im not a electrical guy, only basics.  Please let me know whay i should do.  Thanks in advance
