The struggle is real: Cash can

Last evening I took my IGT s2000 Double Diamond  slot machine's cash can out to check to see if I needed a new can, now I have been  trying to get the cash can into my machine again and it's been a good 4 hours, I know that you must put it in at a angle which I have been doing, I've been trying different angles for the last 4 hours,  ( The repair person was able to get it reseated a few times and I managed to re seat it once ) Thanks, I am wondering if there are any tips or secrets that I'm forgetting?

I use a piece of tape to keep the cash cans door closed. Does your cash can have a lock on it? I have noticed that it’s harder to get them back in. Are the locating pins loose on yours, that can make it hard to install. Does the release handle to get the cash can out spring back into place after you remove the can??

I use tape too and the relaxe handle does spring back into place, the pins seem a little loose

If that's the same cash can you posted on your other post about non working BV you need to replace it. It's beat to death missing pieces etc. It is probably why the BV isn't working also.

Yes it is the same cash can and I'm going to replace it, where do you think is the best place to find a replacement cash box?

I’ve come to find out if the mounting pins are loose, and if the metal edges around the gears are bent, you tend to have problems with them.

WAIT... is there ANY guarantee from the company who sold you the machine??? THEY should be sending you a replacement cash can. They aren't that much but it all adds up!

The edges do look a tad bent on mine but it's hard to tell, the pins are in tight

I called the company who sold me the machine and they said to email them pictures of the cash can, I have not heard anything about the cash can since then ( emailed them a week ago )  They maybe sending another one but I am not entirely sure at this particular moment

I alway make sure the edges are straight by the two gears.
