Bally 1090 $1 coin hopper jam at the hopper exit chute

Looking for ideas on what to do for a hopper coin jam on my Bally 1090 $1.00 machine.  The jam happens past the hopper knife and the tin enclosure seems to stretch out of place.  Is this piece broken or is it suppose to shift?

I have a Bally 1090-10 and on my hopper the dollar is sitting on the "Rail" and has a small NUB that helps keep the Dollar in position. As the dollar reaches the roller, it lifts the roller and the coin rolls out. The chute does not come apart the way yours does.


Not sure what has to be done to fix that. Maybe a small c clamp to bring the chute back together. Probably can't be left there during play with the door closed...


Maybe some other Bally EM people have an idea...

The inner part looks to be bent out. If so it might be possible to bend back, but the 90 degree has been compromised and may break. Possibly a machine screw or two are missing.
One fix would be to bend the compete piece back together and add a U channel over the top.

We used to bend them back with good pliers. Make sure your knife is clean. Is it composite or metal.
