New Gaming Laws after the coronavirus crisis?

I wonder if the new gaming regulations in casinos will require machines to be spaced 6 feet apart?

That would reduce the number of machines on the floor by a quite a bit.

Just different configurations. Perhaps plexy glass between the machines. It might help with second hand smoke too.
I am a non-smoker, my mother was a millitant smoker, so I never made much of a fuss.
Unless I get a rude person blowing smoke into your face. The in between shields wouldn't eliminate second hand smoke (kind of like a no-peeing section in a pool) but it would help with direct exposure.



Rather than a wall of side by side machines you put them into pods of 5 (pentagon shaped) so people are all faced in different directions.

Before the Hard Rock closed they turned off two of their machines on each side of an operating one so spacing was maintained.
If you wanted to play a particular machine that was turned  off you would have to have an attendant turn it on for you and he would turn the 4 machines on either side (2 each side) of you off. I know this was temporary but they were doing that for about a week using the "sovereign nation" status as a reason the could stay open.  They finally shut down a week later.

When I would play, half the fun would be chatting with people on either side of me, unless it was a cranky old lady, chain-smoking cigarette after cigarette, playing two machines, with her leg resting on the chair of the adjacent one: the telltale signal to stay away!   
I guess you could make faces, or moon the player next to you if there was Plexiglass barrier!
