Is there a set of "Tips and General Rules of posting"

New member a few hours old. Very impressive website for enthusiasts.


I used varies combinations to search for tips and rules how to post, but not successful.


My interest is in repairing Aristocrat mechanical slot machines  of the 80s. I did find a few old topics, some started by members 2 to 5 years ago. and I add my post as a "reply".  It was placed at the end of all the pages.


Is is better to make it a new topic or the "same topic"?  that is what I want to find out.


Can I move my postings as a new topic and delete the "replies".


As time goes by, I can help to compile=, or add to , a set of "tips and rules" for posting, if there is not already one.

One needs to search using "terms of service".  Using "How to post" or "posting rules" etc. will not find it.

the new site "newlifegames.com" has a search box to enter desired topics to be searched.
the old archieve site "newlifegames.net" , I don't seem to be able to find a search box to make my entry?


I assume the new .com site will not search topics in the old .net site


Any comments, anyone?
