Triple Diamond issue

I have an issue with my 3 coin, 1 line Triple Diamond. 
First of all, I know I have the wrong top award glass in it..mine has the "haywire" logo on it..ill find the right glass soon
I found an old post about correct strips for my sb100058, it had pics of the sparkly strips.
the machine I have now, has backlit strips, the same icons as the sparkly ones.
here is the issue:
the 6th icon down, (3 bar) lights up and make a thunk noise when landing on it..it stays lit until the last reel stops, then goes off
the "thunk" noise is different from the 7 noise, and even the triple diamond noise when they are landed on.


not sure if this makes sense, but any help would be appreciated

If you get the second 3 bar lined up does it also "thunk"?  It could be that it makes an anticipation noise for the top 3 awards?

it pays out correctly...astleast for the last 200plus spins...
not sure if ive gotten the 2nd reel to land on the 3bars...I think I would have noticed it if I did.
I know there are some games that do make the wrong noises on icons, but I don't think ive ever seen the lights light up on wrong hits
I guess ive got to keep playing it and see if I can get the middle 3 bars to hit

Usually on these games that light up the reel and do a noise, it is anticipation stuff.  See what happens when the second 3 BAR lines up.

you got it!!
I have hit the 2 diamonds, 2 7's and now, the 2 3bars..all remain lit until the last reel stops and each 2nd match gives a louder "thunk"
I guess I have nothing to worry about...its a normal top 3 win tease!
I guess ive either not had backlit strips on the game, or I never paid attention.
what caught my eye while playing was the awards didn't match, that's when I realized my strips don't have cherries, its the wrong top glass...wondering if anyone is interested in the top glass now
all is good now...
