MAV500 "Flames of Olympus"

Hello all. First time slot owner here. Recently purchased an Aristocrat "Flames of Olympus" machine I am assuming its a MAV500 because that what it says on the I.D badge on the outside of the cabinet. All is working except the bet 10 key. I have tested the switch and it is operating as it should. I have also traced the wire from the switch to a circuit board and I am getting signal there as well. Is there any one who can offer me any advice as to where to go from there or what the problem might be? And another issue is the crt monitor with touch screen seem to sit back about an inch from the actual outside frame of the cabinet. Thank you for any help or advice.

The most likely problem is the I/O board.
Just make sure the boards are fully seated (Push them in very firmly).
If that doesn't make a difference then the I/O board is faulty.

Thank you. The board was not seated properly. Everything is now working as it should
