Trying to adjust Credit Options

IGT S2000.  credit limit is $250.  So if I hit a payout that puts me over the limit it pays out in coins.  First I try to set credit option 3.1.1 to "Credit" so all credits are paid to the credit meter until player presses cash out button.  I could not get the credit mode to change. So then I decided to change the credit limit (currently at $250).  supposed to be able to press SPIN REELS button to change the limit amount but does not allow to change the amount using CHANGE and CASH/CREDIT buttons.  Please advise if you know the best answer.  these are the only 2 options I could come up with but not happening for me.

Be sure there are no credits on the machine. Also, depending on the SG chip and game type, you might not be able to change 3.1.1

You are genius!  Thank you so much.  Once no credits on the machine, I could not change the credit mode but was able to change the credit limit to $100,000.00.  Wife is happy now!
