S9000 Reel Winners

Hi all, new to the forum and to slot ownership. We currently have 3 slots. S2000 Vision Red White & Blue, IGT GK 6.2 Trimline and we just added a S9000 Reel Winners. Would like to learn how to do some basic repairs, but finding the info is a little difficult. I have an NVRAM 2 low battery warning with call attendant on touchscreen. In reading on the forum, it looks like I need to replace all the batteries and clear the ram. I could use some guidance on this. I do not have a ram clear card, and I don't see exactly where to replace batteries. I guess I could use some help so this 8 ft. slot doesn't' become a giant paperweight in my game room. I am located in Phoenix, and am willing to pay for someone to come repair it, but would like to learn how to do it also.

Need to know which o.s. is on machine for correct clear card.  There are batteries on MPU board and backplane.  Yes, now would be good time to replace them all.  You should start a thread in bally alpha section.

Thank you for the response. I have an appointment with the company I purchased another slot with to do the battery replacement and clear RAM.  Will look for the Alpha group for future posts.

Where can I get a clear card so I have my own? OS AVOS00000317[/size]-[/color][/size]02. Is it possible to get a barrel lock key somewhere also?[/color]

I can send you a 312 clear card if you want to keep that OS. I would update the OS and BIOS in which case you would need a 335 clear.

I would be interested in the 335. Is it plug and play to upgrade the BIOS? What is the benefit of updating? Thank you!

Change the bios before you clear it or after if you want to clear it with a 312 first. You would still need a 335 with the new Bios and OS. If you are going to do this yourself, watch Bettor Slots setup videos on youtube. You can see the differences in the 31x OS and 33x OS.
