Bill validator keeps cycling

I have a IGT 3 reel slot double 5 times pay the bill validator just keeps cycling and the display go off every time it cycling, It is a S2000 can someone please help me? Thank you

Open the scanner head and clean the upper and lower optics with a cloth dampened with water only. If that does not fix it, you may need to get a different scanner head.

Thank you very much for your help, I replaced  the whole bill validator, and still have the same problem, it's weird the digital display on the outside of the door goes off then the bill validator cycles  and then the LED display on the outside door comes back on, over and over

What is the VFD display saying during issue? Is this a vision machine? Take a video and if you can't post it here, post on youtube then put link here

Thank all you very much for your help, and rocking Elvis you are a very awesome person, well I want to tell you all that every time I would put the clear chip in it did clear the machine, but when I went on to the key chip it said key chip failure every time, I started looking at the wiring harness and found a cut wire that went to the motherboard, after I fixed all that and put a new SB chip in every thing worked fine except I have no volume on the machine at all, I went into the volume menu and adjusted everything up as high as I can and still no volume, Do you thank the new S/B chip is bad?? Please let me know thank you very much again for all your help

Check for more cut wires in the same area. Maybe the sound amp is bad.

Thanks for your help, I am still a kind of new to all of this. where is the sound amp located in the machine and what does it look like ?

Got it buddy, I Sent the email to you before I realized what you were talking about. Okay I do have two spares, let me try both of those one at a time and see if it changes anything. I will let you know, again I very much appreciate your help,
