S2000 just flashing "display passes self test"

Just installed new software on a Triple Double 5 Times Pay 3 reel single line machine, did a clear 97 & keychip 17 on a 504 board because I added TITO. After the clear & Keychip I power it back up but it just flashes "display passes self test" every 5 seconds & the game never boots up. I've tried another known working power supply behind the reels & also tried another known working 504 board, any ideas what else I cab try to get this machine working? Thanks in advance

I had the same message last week. Was a new machine so when I turned it on "display passes self test" flashes. When I checked the chips I found one prong on the sg chip was bent out. Also my sb chip was bad. Had 2 issues. Fixed both and machine works. Hope this helps, Good luck.

Ok thanks, I'll try another SB chip. I just bought this SB & SG chips for this game so I guess one of them could be bad

I just tried another known working SB chip and I'm still getting the same message every 5 seconds.

I just tried another set of SG chips and the machine booted up & is working fine now, thanks erbs!

Glad you got it working.  :applause:I can't take all the credit. RB told me to check the SG chips.
