I have some Aristocrat software that is not loading due to the fact that I have a serial touchscreen controller and the game is looking for a USB touchscreen controller, so I have been informed...

My quest is to find someone that has either the parts or has a failed monitor that we can harvest the parts from to USB my touchscreen. I am looking for the USB controller board [I'd prefer the EXII-7760UC or a EXII-7710UC which has been discontinued but should still work for me] and the cable from the controller board to USB. Something from out of a Helix monitor is an exact fit but if you have a 'failed' Bally or IGT monitor with a touchscreen that connects via USB that might work...

You can buy those controllers on e-bay all day long for reasonable prices.  As far as the cable is concerned, you can just have one made up, all you need is the correct pinout.

I stole that pic off the net but yes that is what the controller board looks like. Lousy pic, sorry.
It should be marked EXII-7760UC somewhere? Maybe on the backside? The serial board looks similar.
More important might be locating the OEM cable if possible. Thanks...

The Helix monitors don't use that controller.  Also, I am wondering if the controller has to be flashed for the correct firmware.

I know that Ceronix has the controller and it works.  They probably have the cable too.  The controller and cable I am using is out of a IGT Trimline. Link below to the controller.

I looked through the pics and I didn't see what I was looking for.
