Is the coin mech switch in the UP position? It needs to be in the UP position to turn on the communication to the BV.

61 and 81 are for coin acceptor , hopper, and printer settings, which you do not have that hardware installed.

Do you have red circle  or green arrow lights at the BV entrance?

Try powering off the machine and turn back on

I placed the coin mech button in the up position. Powered it off. When it came back on I have no error codes and I have the red circle…also white light is flashing on top of tower.

Red circle means something wrong with BV. Remove cashbox and reinsert it. Does the BV cycle after you do this?

 I picked up a Wild Times game with bonus game on top and the owner said it keeps gettting a 88 error. I purchased the machine, first thing I looked at was the main board and found DS1,2 & 3 were empty sockets, there was no dip switches.  So I went ahead and got some and even with looking up the settings, could use a 'cheat sheet' if you can.

Also, U24 (next to DS1) has nothing it it, should it?
