board terminology

Great Day to All. I have different types of setups on my 2 game kings and I would like to obtain the correct terminology of what’s what. One board has chips throughout it and the other chips and Simms. I’d like to know where I can find paperwork or someone to help me in identifying what the different chips/Simms  are doing?
Here’s some pictures, The 1st picture is all chips. 2nd picture (expansion board)? 3rd combo. If there’s a thread that I should be reading I love to know where to find it? Thanks for All the help.

Sets with all eproms are GK 4.x
Sets with both eproms and simms are GK 5.x
Sets with just a flashboard (for 044 MPUs) are GK 6.x
