BB2 (BB1.5) Bill Validator Only Reads Tickets Sometimes

I love my BB1.2 which is a BB2 CPU in a BB1 cabinet. I have dual screens.

The BV has always done this since I got it. I will accept a ticket maybe once every 60 times you put it in. As in, you can sit there and put the same ticket in and out, then somewhere between attempt # 10 and 50, it will accept the ticket and credit the machine. THEN: then it will accept the next 5 or 6 tickets, if you put them in right after.

It's a JCB or "J" something validator.

it may have taken less tries when I first got it, like 5-10 tries, now it's 10-60.

The validator head needs to be calibrated.  Many threads about this issue, just search for calibration WBA and you should find your solution.  You will need to make your own calibration paper as these are no longer available to purchase from JCM since their new validators no longer require calibration.
