Sound setting help

Hello all, I have a new to me S2000. Put in a new board, chips added Tito, cleared, and keys…. Working great, except for the back lighting which I’ll figure out.

My question is though in the sound settings, I can’t figure out or see where I can set the sounds for when the ticket is excepted and credited as well as when it cashes out. Both are pretty silent. My other machine although it’s a split pay it’s still does the sound for the coin as well as the ticket out, plus the ticket in any thoughts or directions on the settings because it doesn’t seem to be easily found for me. I appreciate it. Happy Fourth of July!

Not all DSV simms have those sounds.  There is no place to enable/disable BV/ticket or printer/cashout sounds on any sound simm, you either get sound for them or you don't. Some DSV's you do have to enable enhanced sound.

So it sounds like you’re saying with this game I’m just out of luck with that benefit? Or is there some custom way to add it somehow? It just seems so standard. I was kind of surprised that nothing was happening.

There are two different cigar simms, which one do you have?  The newer one may have those sounds you are looking for.  Usually if there is a newer one it adds BV or voucher sounds.

I’ve never messed with those parts before. It probably is an older card because the chips were old and I upgraded those. How would I know which one it has? Are those things usually available?

Turn J/P key one time
Go to accounting/version accounting
use cashout button to go to PV16
this will tell the DSV number in use.

Yep that is the original.  DSV00029 is the newer one and it is supposed to add TITO sounds, I have one, PM if interested.
