S2000 GME1,2 chip?

Hope You All enjoy Your holiday season. I’m changing a multi- denomination machine from .25 to .50 cents. It’s NOT liking my 97/17 chips. It keeps coming back to setting WAMM/IPC. I was reading different posts and there’s comments written about SG000362 chips being an issue. I have some junk boards that have the suggested S000363 chips to use. Can I replace mine with those without having to do anything else besides clear/key the machine? Or should I keep the 362’s and use the 224/45 chips first?

A Fantastic Day to All, and it’s “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED”. Thank You SO MUCH for Your help Mr. “STAY…”After changing the GME362 chips to 363, I Now have a S2000 that is Nice to play. It has faster response time in playing. I Also want to recommend that ANYONE who has an issue with their S2000 machine(s), Take the time to read/absorb ALL the information that is in the First 2 Posts.  FANTASTIC information that “STAYOUTTADABUNKER” & “KNAGL” have offered to share.
I was brought up being told “ The day You don’t learn something/anything is the day You’re DEAD” Thanks again to Everyone and have a Fantastic Holiday Season.
