Need a printer for my igt igame

Right now I have an ithaca 850 that's only printing half a ticket.
I'm thinking I need a new printer.  Advice appreciated.

Are you getting a "fast blink" with the LED light?
Have you tried looking under the door to see if there's any obstructions blocking the thermal printhead?
Paper dust maybe, debris?
Can you open the top door and take a photo in the area where the paper feeds thru?
Maybe someone will spot something.
I could also suggest taking it apart, un-plugging and re-plugging the mini-connectors inside.

Maybe a moderator will move this to the Classifieds section of NLG.
Hopefully a vendor/member will spot your need for another printer.

Thank you,   I ended up sending my memory board out to get flashed., So I won't be able to work on the printer until I get it back.. I found someone that will sell me a new used printer.

You may want to hold on to the receipt and possibly send that printer back. It may just need cleaning the printer heads and even replacing the printer paper.

With the cost of shipping these days, sending something back,  because you didn't need it, can be a waste of money.  Since Ken will likely get more machines,  keeping it as a spare could be good.

Your printer may need more than a cleaning, but cleaning is very important.  Here are some pics of a gen1 printer that wasn't printing the bottom line very well. Removed the guide to expose the roller, then opened the release.  Cleaned the roller, the results are good the bottom line prints well. You can buy waffle cleaning cards for the path also, but they are not usually necessary .
