Misbehaving Reels

Been working with this issue for a while, recently replaced the power supplies on this Alpha and everything works except the reels, they rumble, and then during a spin they lose speed and go into tilt, why is this happening? Posted a video below

I have done everything from reseating the reels, the reel harness, making sure the baskets are on, EVERYTHING. I run into this issue no matter what.

When they’re not trying to spin? No. Sometimes during a spin, yes. It’ll say Reel Device Error for all 3 or sometimes only one. I have tested these on my good working Alpha and they function completely fine.

So I tried swapping out the RCU Backplane and it DID NOT work!!! This is a really tough thing to try and troubleshoot

did you replace the reel controller?  little square box that sits on top of the reels.  Usually has a keylock on it.

Yes, I have a couple RCU units lying around all running AVRU6REEL180-03. I’ve only tried one but might as well try them all.
