Can not reset jackpot on sizzling 7s

I recently purchased a sizzling 7s machine and hit the jackpot and it keeps trying to feed out quarters even though I have tried the reset key and also what I think is the reset button along with rebooting.  I’ve looked at the manual that came with it and it basically just says to turn the key. I’ve tried getting into the menus but it doesn’t seem to match the manual I have.  Every time I reboot it just spins to the win and starts trying to feed out quarters. A second question is that when it was going I couldn’t add more than two quarters at a time. When I won it would build credits and if you put dollars it would add credits but if it was at zero then it wouldn’t build credits with quarters. I have attached pictures to help. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Your machine is an S+ not an S2000.  You have to keep feeding the hopper until it finishes payout.  The jackpot reset key is for re-setting handpays.   You need to lower the credit/hopper limit so big pays go to handpay instead of paying from hopper.  It is normal that the machine only takes enough coins to play the game, you can't just add up credits that way.

Also you need to press the cash-credit button to light it up so wins go to credit meter instead of wins paying coins to tray.

I fed it quarters until it paid out. Was playing it on and off the past couple days and didn’t seem to have any issues except the credits wouldn’t go over 300 when I won and it would just pay out if the winnings went over the 300 mark.  I cashed out at 255 because for some reason it wouldn’t count quarters anymore and it paid out the 255 coins and now it’s frozen at that.  The winner paid just flashes between 255 and 50 and the red light on top is flashing. I tried the key and the test switch inside and nothing is clearing it. Didn’t see 50 as a tilt code in the manual.  I still do not understand the service menus. The dip switches are set to 300 max hopper pay if that helps.  Any ideas on what’s going on?  Thank you

50 indicates the amount of the win and 255 is the cash out amount. There's no error code. The candle flashes until the next game is played.
If the insert coin is lit, it's ready to go.

The insert coin is lit up but doesn’t count quarters when I put them in and the bill collector isn’t lit up and isn’t working either.  The red light up top is flashing quick. Just got it to work for a few spins then opened the door again and it stopped accepting quarters again.

The game installed in your cabinet is a two-coin game....it will ONLY accept up to two coins MAX.
If you want any winning credits to accumulate onto the display, you have to press the cash-credit button once before playing.
It should light up.... if not, then the lamp is burned out.

The flashing candle light means that the door is or was opened.
It will stop flashing after you complete one game.

If you opened the door and it stopped accepting quarters, that could indicate that the door latch isn't completely all the way down.
When you push the door latch fully all the way down, watch the [Coins Played] window on the reel glass display.
Whatever number is in there, should momentarily go out when the door optics are lined up...after a few seconds, the "Insert Coins" light should come on.
Again, the candle will keep flashing (indicating that the door was just opened), until you complete one game.

If after checking all this and your machine still doesn't accept up to two coins bet while the "Insert Coin" light is ON, then inspect your coin comparitor and coin-in optics for operation.
There are self-tests you can perform using the diagnostic flip cards in the S+ section of NLG.

Do the quarters fall back into the coin tray when you drop them into the slot in the coin head?
Or do they go into the coin hopper?

They go into the hopper. It randomly started working again after trying a handle full of times to open and close door and I found a video on how to do the door switch test and that works so for now it’s working. The bill collector doesn’t work but I don’t really need that so I’m just gonna roll with it for now. Thank you for the help !

The bill acceptor might be pretty much outdated, and probably only takes the older, small-headed one-dollar bills.
Try a new $20 bill...if it accepts it, then that may be the best it will do.... if not, then it will only take older small-headed bills.... which are scarce.
You can update the bill acceptor, but it's pretty expensive to do.
Get a hold of member JIM, to see if he has any newer DBV-200 heads available or not.

That’s what it was doing and now it doesn’t even light up. But it goes through its sequence during power up.

I'll assume the "lights", are the red LEDs inside the bill acceptor entranceway 

If you hear the bill acceptor going thru its sequence at power up, it doesn't mean that it's enabled.
Anytime you submit power to a DBV, it will do "go through its sequence".

There are other lamps involved.
There's normally a yellow bill bezel above the hole on the door.
Do the two lamps inside that bezel light up when the door is closed?
Are they burned out?
