Aristocrat mav500 button question

Just purchased a aristocrat buffalo mav500 machine. The bottom five buttons, bet denomination, constantly blink at idle. Drives me crazy. I'm looking for a way to keep them on or off. I looked in the accounting menu and I see no way to do it there so I'm wondering are there dip switches or something on the MB that'll allow me to change the settings for the button lights.. I've seen a lot of these in casinos and they do not do this. Thanks

Actually I found it, in the audit mode it is under test mode standard lamp test one of the options in there is turn the buttons on constantly I take it, w
One is off, one is flash slow and one is flash fast. It was set at flash slow which it was doing. When I set  it to on, which means all buttons on and exit the menu or exit audit it doesn't take it, it defaults back to flash slow. Any ideas on why it won't take the current function I use or do something else to make sure it doesn't default back to slow flash mode all the time. Thanks again

The test mode for the lights are just that....a test mode.  These aren't settings, they only test the lights to see if they work properly.  If there are credits in the machine, the bottom row of  bet key buttons and the cashout/take win  button will slow flash.  The spin button will stay on.  There are no settings to alter the slow flash with credits on the machine.  With no credits on the machine, all buttons will remain dark.  I hope this helps you!

Yes I discovered this as I was fiddling around trying to figure it out, I realized that's what it was just a test for the lights. Lol. I'd also noticed when I clear the credits the lights do stay out. So I guess I either have to clear the credits when the lights are bugging me or just live with it. Lol. I got to make a trip down to my local little casino that has plenty of these older buffalo machines still cuz I just do not remember them flashing like that, but then again I really wasn't paying attention to the lights just my wallet.
