IGT S Plus 1990 error 65-0

my front glass bulb was out. i removed the guard from inside the slot and replaced the long bulb. i put back together and i am getting 65-0 i checked all of the old post but the reset button did nothing inside the machine. i turned the reset button on the outside a few times. first time i got random number 05   8528 then blank then 9999 9999 9 then 13 then 50. photos attached. i am using the radio shack harness for the 4 triple a battery's so the battery should not be an issue.
any suggestions??

you were in the booking keeping mode when you turned the reset key with the door closed, continue turning the jackpot reset key until you get back to the 65 0 code, then open the door, push the white test button for a few seconds, this should clear and your machine should be ready to play.

65 0 is a problem with the EEPROM on the motherboard, no?

I turned the key like requested and hit the reset button inside. It did its cycle and seems to be working fine now.
