2068-A Board issue Black Screen

Hello,

OK here is a weird one.  I ordered a Game King chipset to replace Little Green Men on 2068-A Board. The board was working fine, but I have only had it for a few weeks.  I installed all of the chips and plugged it in. I got nothing on the screen, and the red light blinking on the MPU.  So one by one I started swapping chips with another game king I have.  And what do you know? all the chips were good. So my next step was to replace the battery.  So I replaced the battery and it worked.  Awesome right?  Nope.  The next time I turned off the power and turned it back on, I got the black screen. Thinking that it could be the battery holder I popped the battery out and checked it for voltage.  3V.  Good.  Then I took the the board out of the tray, and reflowed the solder on the back thinking it might be a cold solder.  Then rechecked posts on the back of the board and got a good 3V.  I powered up the machine and it started right up.  Turned it off and back on and nothing.    Blinking red light, black screen.  I popped the battery off the board, reseated it, and the game started again.  So the only way I can get it to start is by removing the battery and popping it back in.   One other fact.  There is no Varta battery. This one is stumping me.  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance. The board is a 3902

I wanted to bump this again to see if anyone has an idea?  Since I am getting 3 volts to the to the board?  Where does the power go from there?  I would like to test it at its next stop.

Check pins 1 and 2 of U63. They should be 3V.

Thanks for the new info on my rabbit hole.  I checked U63 and it was getting a reading of 2 volts.  I thought this was strange so I grabbed another working board and was getting the same reading.  I checked the posts on both boards.  3 volts.   strange.
