BB1 Bill accepter not working

hello
  My bill accepter on my BB1  ( JCM ) will not take  bills. It seems the money will not go in like the belts are not strong enough to pull it in. It does not work with bills or tickets. can the belts be tightened ? Or do I have to replace the transport? Any body have this problem?

Does it not even pull the bills?  Do you hear motors when the bill is sensed?  There are rubber gaskets that are on spinners that pull the bill in.  These dry up over time and don't grab the bills as good as they used to.  You can just replace the gaskets, just get the right size at home depot.
