back lites on for wrong symbol

s-2000, Triple Double Wild Cherry, 2 coin,  363 game chip,  SB  0000312,    when any of the double cherry or triple cherry symbols appear above the line , the symbol below the line will come on,  when a symbol appears below the line the symbol above the line comes on..everything else is normal.


the lamp test works as it should.

Did the reels come from a slant top?
I have had this happen before I think I just switched the top and bottom plugs on each reel light and everything worked fine after that.

Switch the wiring harness that goes into the panel that holds the bulbs. Top to bottom and bottom to top.

Jim,
Besides swapping the top & bottom wires check to be sure your backlight assy is in the correct position. There are 2 holes marked S & U for slant & upright.

Thanks for the information, never looked at the wiring connections on the reel assembly before, learn something new every day.

Ken, (OHIO Gaming)  called me and told me to swap the plugs, that did the trick.
