Bally V8000 Bill Validator Enable

Howdy, not sure if this should go under the BV forum or here so moderator, please have your way with it.

Have a V8000 with a WBA13 that will intermittently accept $1s and $20s.  Has a sticker on it that says updated to new bills. When I go into the setup screen thru the jackpot key, it shows BV disabled.  I enable it and sometimes it will take a bill but screen always reverts to disabled when I enter the setup again.   Have thoroughly cleaned the BV and it always ingests a bill but 95% of the time spits it out.  Is it a BV or V8000 issue?  Thanks

If it intermittently accedpts bills you have a BV issue. Needs the optics cleaned or the BV is failing and needs replaced. I provide service for WBA's. Updates, cleaning, testing. PM if interested.
