WMS BB2 video cards

Are there two brands of video cards for the BB2 MPU...AMD and ATI?
I understand the ATI brand was bought out by Advanced Micro Devices?
I see some video cards for sale in Taiwan that look slightly different, but still a video card.
Want to pick one up and try it.
The ATI card in the photo below is just missing the heatsink that I could easily apply some thermal paste and install.

I think the lack of WMS firmware may be an issue

okay...that makes sense.
I don't know anybody that flashes these video cards with the correct firmware.
I'm guessing that they'd have to first grab it from a working card - if even possible.
I found these ATI cards for like $6 bucks apiece, free shipping...lol...dirt cheap.
