Bally s5500 hopper does not pay out - motor does not turn

I have a ProSlot 5500 - 9picture attached)
Replaced RAM chips - seems to be working good now!
But the hopper does not pay out - motor does not turn (checked continuity - good). Sound rings with each coin then goes into error .... Hopper has enough coins to pay.
The hopper is a S- 6000 (picture attached) ... does the S-6000 hopper work for the 5500 slot machine?
Anyone with info for checking, testing and resetting hopper functions will be appreciated.
Also does anyone have the pin number sequence for the hopper plug?

I am still confused on how to "NAVIGATE" this web site!

Since this is a different machine, and different topic, I split this and moved from Bally EM to Bally Reel Games (which are all the rest, not electro-mechanical). You might get an answer from someone other that wolftalk.

Check the pins on the hopper plug and the pins on the hopper receiving plug in the bottom of the cabinet. If those pins are all good, might be common issue with the motor on the hopper. The copper commutator segments on armature get clogged with carbon dust and need cleaned.

I applied 24 volts to the motor, and it works fine - both ways!
Picture attached showing voltage readings at the hopper plug with door opened and door switch pulled to apply power (code 31 shows to indicate hopper out).
When I had loaded up the credit limit - then played for a while till I hit "over" the limit - the sound for payout was sounding off, but the hopper was NOT kicking out the coins. Then the error occurred.

No LED or action from buttons on the hopper.

OH ... I forgot to ask " does a hopper designed for an S-6000 work in a 5500 slot machine (because that's what I have)

"OR" does that writing on the handle say S-"GOOD" ........? instead of S-6000

5500 and 6000 hopper are same except for the length of the black plastic coin bowl.  5500 is longer.

Put a few credits on it.  Open door.  Pull out the  plunger on the white door switch.  Press the cashout button.  What does the hopper do? Is it running and not dispensing?

When I do all that you recommended - the system does it's "ding - ding - ding.." process, like it wants to payout ... but after the 15 seconds, it goes into the error 32 code (hopper empty) but the hopper has plenty of coins to pay out. The hopper does nothing - with the door open and door switch "pulled out".

The S-6000 hopper has the red-green-amber LED lights, but none come "on" or "blink". Even when it's trying to pay. Nor do the forward or reverse buttons work.

I got a schematic for the board - will "TRY" some continuity checks (see if I can "find" anything).
If anyone reading this has a board for sale (AS-3356-368) please let me know how much ... appreciate it
