Bally 5 reel Alpha battery low issue

I am getting the following error code on my machine after powering it up. How do I access the board where the battery is located and what kind of battery is it?

Depends on the mpu on your machine.  Pull out the mpu tray, which is where the monitor, power, speakers, touchscreen, etc are connected.  You will see either 1 big button cell battery or a pair of  button cell batteries.  They are both easily replaceable and readily available lithium button cell type batteries.

How do I gain access to that MPU?

Open the lower half of the machine that latches on the right side.  You will see a box mounted under the reels that is approximately a foot wide by about 3 inches high.  You will see connections to the vga monitor, a power plug, a USB Plug, audio jack plug, serial db9 plug for touchscreen.  Take a note of where they are plugged in.  Unplug all the cables, and the box will have like a little handle on the top middle that you can grab to pull out the whole assembly.  Some machines have a lock on the left side of this box that keeps it locked there, but a lot of the times, this lock has been removed.  I would send you a picture, but I am not home.

Thank you for your help. I got all 3 batteries changed, now will I need to do some sort of clear procedure. When I turned the game back on it went through several checks and stopped at this screen:

What OS are you running (top card in mpu)? That will determine what Clear you use.

I had the proper clear card, I cleared it and re set the denominations, BV, etc and it sems to be working fine now, thank you guys for your help
