Game fails to load: Error: Validation failed on file: "/dev/hdc".

I have a WMS BB1 NXT1 that I bought pre-loaded with the game 'Wolverton', one of my favorites from back in the day. Soon, I bought another compatible-with-my-machine game, Lucky Lemmings (game card and game OS card). After playing Lucky Lemmings for awhile I went to re-load Wolverton using my clear card (SCLR-000-1810) but during the load process it failed to load, eventually displaying the message: Error: Validation failed on file: "/dev/hdc".

What could have happened, what does this mean, did my game card somehow get corrupted?? I've tried innumerable times to reload, always with the same error message. Any and all help appreciated, I love Wolverton and want it back!
