I'm looking for some help. I picked up a Bally e-2308 last week, and I'm working through a few kinks

First, I get an error 7 when powering up the slot. Pressing the buttons on the hopper controller seems to clear it, but it only lasts until it is powered down. When I power it up again, error 7 comes back

Second, I'm getting a code 71. I swapped reel reader 1 with reel reader 2; I'm thinking it's the reel encoder, but I haven't verified that yet.

Third, there are a couple of buttons mounted on the front door: Bet One and Play Max Credits. It's the darned thing; it simulates the coin drop and plays as if coins were inserted (sorta a Free Play, you could say).

I swapped out the old PSU for a new one I got from KLAR a while ago, and the wiring harness was replaced with a new one; same problems.
