Wizard of Oz - Ruby Slipper Progressive

Just purchased Ruby Slippers. Having one pressing issue. I haven't figured out anyway around the progressive. Progressive setup is third option under Serial Comm Setup. I get an error message if I don't change it to WMSP (leave it at "None"). Then, I go into the configure menu (next to it) and there aren't any adjustable options. I finish the rest of setup and when I "Return To Game", I get Progressive Disabled Machine, In-Game meter not functioning, and Progressive unconfigured errors. I can usually fly through setup pretty quick, but I haven't figured out the workaround to this one. Any assistance would be appreciated.

What version number on the game card?  There are WAP and SAP versions of that game

Can you go into Game Setup, scroll down to the bottom, and choose "Disable Topbox"?

I disabled top box with no luck. Progressive still required. The version number is sd17-000-1030.

That version you have is WAP so not going to play unless you have the controller.
