S2000 what exactly do I have here?

Hoping I can obtain some additional details about my machine without visually checking MPU.
I received it sealed with tamper evident tape, and don't want to go in unless I need to KEY / CLEAR it.

Hot Peppers - 3 reel - one pay line - 3 credit S2000 with bill validator and ticket printer.
Via the Accounting menu, I found the following:

A few things I think are correct.
PV14 Version GX1 EPROM allows multi denom, which mine is.
PV1 Game SG000626 is an EPROM
PV3 Base SBT00518 is the stepper base EPROM
DSV00042 is a SIMM with enhanced sounds?

I've only heard the terms 502 / 504 / Enhanced board.
Can I tell from PV11 which one I have?  Or is that just a serial number or something?

SBT00518 in combination with SG pairs SG626 are used for timed "tournament" games...esp. in New Jersey.

Why don't you want to pull the MPU? You need to at least inspect it for a leaking Varta battery. If it's leaking, the MPU is not long for the world. Be it a 50X or 1270 enhanced MPU.  A picture of the MPU in the cage will tell if it's a 50X or enhanced.
Actually, if it has a loose bail type handle it is enhanced. If just a solid handle it is a 50X. You can't tell which 50X (501, 502, or 504) without seeing the board.
The 'processor board ID' is just basically a solid state serial number. All S2000 boards have a unique serial number. I don't know of any public cross reference of these numbers vs the type of board.

Make sure the power switch is OFF before sliding out the MPU.
Grasp the handle, slide it out slowly, and try not to bang the black heat sink against the door.
There may be a large green color battery cell.
See if you can get a good close up photo of that area of the board.

I researched the varta battery comment.  Whoa, I don't need that kind of hassle!  Pulled the MPU to verify, looks like no Varta, just a coin.  I guess it is a 50x?

You're okay.
The area where I've marked in yellow was where the Varta battery was once located, and has already been removed.
That battery was for a watchdog circuit that told the casino certain security events happenings with the machine...not really needed for home use.
It looks like you're okay but Lookes will know better than I.

The round coin cell battery I've marked in green, is 3 volts DC, and helps retain your machine's internal accounting and settings.
You need that one.

There's a couple of rectangular labels stuck to the surface of the circuit board underneath that piggyback audio board.
The audio board is called a "Multimedia Lite Board" or "MMLB".
I drew a white arrow to show you where the two white labels would be located.
"502" OR "504" maybe the last 3 numbers on one of the labels - depicting which version MPU you have.
Members like Lookes may already know what you have just by looking at your photo...lol
Anyways, it's really easy to pop off that piggyback MMLB board, once you take off the 2 Philips screws holding it.
All you need is to do is line up the holes, when you want to push it back on later.

You have a nice 504B. (1952-2 is a 504B)  Looks clean! If you have any random Door Open or Closure messages, or random reel faults, remove the little 8 pin chip at U79.
