Wms bb2 oled button panel - buttons work but no images

So I recently got my bb2 running again, and I bought some new games. I installed lil red with os H13.33 and my buttons lost all images (lines and bet amounts). I know the buttons are notoriously known for blowing out. I just find it surprising thay all the buttons died at the same time. I checked with the WMS COMMTEST tool and the buttons and panel all accept  firmware upgrades/downgrades. I down graded the buttons/panel down to 3.02. I then bought a the 16H0 H13.521 os to see if the os could update the buttons properly. The game spent a long time post install on configuring the oled buttons, but they never lit up. I tried using a flashlight to see if the oled buttons lost thier backlight, but I am getting too much glare from the button coverings.

Since the buttons are working, but don't have images, I am on the fence on tearing it down to try and fix them. I am using the 1810 clear card when switching games. I also bought the 1490 H9 os, but havent tried it yet.

Is there anything else I should try?

The only thing you can do is get replacement OLED panels and change them out.
The smaller ones are sized at 29x21 with a resolution of 96x64 with a 30-pin ribbon cable.
The actual product number from US Micro Products down in Texas, used to be USMP-19605 - for the 1.1" Yellow background screens.
Unfortunately, they don't import them any more from Taiwan.
When I asked if they could make me some, I needed to place an order for 10,000 pcs. Yeah right. 

Now, if you don't mind getting the white ones USMP-19603, which actually look pretty cool, those are still available from ( they'll criticize me for this) slot junk parts warehouses at exorbitant prices...lol
The larger buttons (1.6"), have a resolution of 128x64, are only a few dollars more.

There's several of these slot part stores online, but if I were you, I'd place a WTB ad in the Classifieds section of NLG.
Hopefully a vendor/member will spot and have some for sale to you.

Do you know where i can find the pinout for the ribbon cable on the displays?

What usually goes out, the panel or the buttons?

I just purchased some from Headsun in China. The small ones were $15 and the large ones were $21 but you need to add shipping and a 17.5% tariff fee. Not sure what shipping would be since I also ordered some IGT dynamic edge lit buttons from them. I also believe Spinn in Florida sells them for $21 for the small and $49 for the large.

Thank you very much. I will look into it. Is there any chance that the panel could be bad instead of the lcd buttons? It's just wierd they all went out at once.

I just checked and Get-t has the small ones for 9.95 and the large ones for $19.95. Even better pricing.
