Stuck fixing this Game King SHA FAILURE REPLACE FLASH?

I am stuck with the error "GK SHA FAILURE CHECK AND REPLACE FLASH"

This is what showed up when I first turned the GK on
Tried a 224 clear, same result
Ordered a DEV39 chip as recommend by some older posts, no luck, same error.
Ordered a replacement daughter board IGT Game King 6.4 Multi Games GK003522 044 Flash Board with Bootchip GKBDEV39 as recommend by other posts, I wanted an upgrade anyway. Same result even after trying a clear again first. Same result, it sticks at SHA FAILURE and wont go any further.

I took the main board out and put it into a working Elvira after swapping the daughter board, the main 44 board works fine in the Elvira and that board has the same error in the GK.

Is the "FLASH" somewhere else and I am missing it?

Not sure whats next? Any help greatly appreciated.

  I totally forgot you had to hold the test button down on start up to access the menus!!  All set now, on to programing.
