Can someone help me identify what type of Bally Machines these are?

I am thinking of buying these two machines but I have only worked on IGT and know nothing about Bally.  So first I'd like to find out what kind of machines these are and what would be a fair price.  They have not been shopped out and the people I'm thinking of buying them from sell them as parts complete because they don't know how to get them running.


I played a couple of them in vegas and had a good time so figured if it looks like I can get them running pretty easy I'd pick them up and add them to the collection, numbers 15 and 16 


Any help would be greatly appreciated and probably more questions to follow.

They are Bally 6000s.

Thanks Ros,  Now the 15K question, what would be considered a good price and how hard are these things to get going?  The one powered on has the following in the winners paid window  404 then changes to 3.8. and finally 5.2.38.  From what I can tell all the parts appear to there, bv, printer, both have progressives in them, this one I booted appears to have a working progressive currently set to 0.00.  As I stated I don't know much about them but now at least I know what model number they are so that should help with troubleshooting at least.  Are these equivalent to a S-Plus, S2000 etc...


I lost my job about a month ago so don't want to dump a bunch of money into a large paper weight.

Mike,  Just make sure they are cheap.  those in pics are also progressive games.  Those are ok but -uh -don't spend much on them- Just my opinion.

Prices/values are always tough, as it varies so much based on location....but I wouldn't touch them unless they were under $100, maybe less, depending on what the local market for a working 6000 is in your area...

Seller I was talking to is asking 200 each so sounds like I need to pass on these.  I wanted them for the house but I also don't want to over pay, already did that on the barcreast I bought

You have to look at what is missing on these too.   Bill validators, coin parts, etc all add to the cost of redoing these.  It looks to me like the coin head head has been removed and blue tape put over the hole.  $100 may be too much if many expensive parts are missing.  $200 is a good price for a slot like this complete and ready to go.  These need setup and may need parts.  Just my two cents.

Just curious, can the TITO boards sold here be made to work in a 6000 series machine?
