got a  s2000 that has a open door m/b showing    but with we put it in test  and open and close  doors  they show working right, game was working then went in to general  reel tilt did clear and key chip still the same , green battery was removed looks good its a dd haywire  ,done by pass with optics

Have you checked the belly door and BV housing door switches?

My money is on the traces under the battery. The symptoms are textbook.

money box switch was jumped , I  replaced board mpu and game works  board  that was in game must have a trace or chip going bad cause it works at  times when I did a clear I was able to do  close main door without any trouble also  last week the game worked

 yes but running out of old type boards   going to play with the one that works now and then   its strange that everything works in test mode , the battery on it looked god and there was  only green on 2 chips that brushed off

All we know is that when those green batteries leak they damage the door optics circuit. It's been thought that the traces under the battery get damaged to whatever extent and the board quits working. People have had some luck cleaning, repairing and jumpering those traces but it seems as the years pass the amount of success people have doing it is less and less. With the new bypass for the green battery on the 1270 enhanced boards maybe the use of those will increase and the problems will be resolved easire, albeit with still having to replace the board, but at least they don't seem to be as suseptible as the 500 series to failure from those batteries

that why we are now going thur warehouses and getting rid of  games with old boards or at least pulling green batterys off them , the good board I got yesterday been in warehouse for 4 years yet board and battery  were clean and good , had a guy sending me 20 old boards to make up money he owe us for shorting  us games in a deal  that's been 6 months  the boards have been on their way looks  like they will never get here  he is a con never ever buy from American slots in fla
