Hope this is an easy answer

Trying to determine this IGT board type. Unable to get the reels to spin with this board.  Swap out with another s2000 board and the reels did spin on the slot machine. Bottom line Eeprom error will not clear
Photos to follow.  Also if anyone would want to sell a matching board

When you swap the MPU's do you swap the software also? If you do, then just buy a new board, it's a 500 series MPU available from any vendor listed on the home page. Try to get a 504B if you can. If you're not moving the sofware, then do that and see if the problem follows the software

Sorry to disagree, but with EEPROM ERROR, assuming you have all the chips/EPROMs transferred to new board, then just turn the reset key on the side of the machine. Read the display, as you may get a couple more messages that don't make sense to you, but keep watching what they say none the less (once in awhile one will pop up that actually makes sense like "Close The Main Door", or "Press the Reset Button".

I was thinking along the same lines you were Roz, but when he said he swappex boards from a different machine he would have had to clear the eeprom error and a crc mismatch error to make it work, so I assumed he'd already tried what you suggested on his origional board

Changed out the board to another five line went through the entire set up not just checking if the reels would spin and everything worked.  Based on this I believe I confirmed a new board is needed.   Which has turned out to be hard to locate.  Thanks for the feedback.   I'll feel better knowing this will work once I'm able to locate a replacement board.   Do we know who may repair IGT boards?

You will not find anyone to repair IGT boards. You can buy a tested working replacement from the vendors on the home page though.
