S2000 Chip Key

I need to change from coinless on my S2000 Super Stars model 96438300 in order to change the limits. Can you give me the key number, i have key 31 but i want to make sure it will work. If possible give the procedure to change from coinless.

A 31 will probably work for your machine. A 45 is more versatile. However you don't need a key chip to change limits. You must have zero credits on the machine. You will need a key chip to make most changes & recommend that everyone have a clear & key chip if you own a S2k. A clear 224 & Key 45 will cover everything except R boards.

Okay thanks for the reply. The reason i need the key is when i try to change,limits it says it is locked on coinless. So i thought i needed to disable coinless or at least that is what i read on some postings, is that correct.

When you get to field locked in coinless mode, go down (cash out). You will see credit limit, jackpot limit & bill limit. Hit enter (spin reels) at the one you want to change. The change or service button will move the cursor & cash out will change the digit(s). Remember to cash out the machine before attempting to change any limits. They will be disabled if credits are on the machine.

Wha Hoo!!! RB it worked. Got the limits changed w/out key chip.
