I just got my first slot today.  It is an early S+ Triple Diamond without a bv.  I put a new battery in since the old one was dead.  I did have to use the clear chip and I did use the set chip even though I don't have a bv.  Not sure if I should have done that or not.  I was having issues getting it to play but after some cussing, troubleshooting and going through the coin in I was able to get it to play.  There are some bulbs that need to be replaced and there is even a missing fluorescent starter.  The top box is in need of some repair.  It is also missing the piece that would hold or cover the bottom portion of the top payout glass.  I am not sure exactly what to call it.  If I put the top glass in, there is about 2" of open space on the bottom.  Where would I be able to find the missing top glass "bezel"?  It is also missing the ball on the arm lever.  Can just  that be replaced or does the whole arm need to be?

I can send you a pull handle knob & a couple fluorescent starters. I have a top glass bracket 19.5" long but it would only fill about a 1/2" gap. Sounds like you need a different one. Welcome to NLG Lugthar. I have an early model S+ like yours. Are you sure you have the correct glass for this machine? As you can see in my picture it goes down all the way and the bottom trim piece RB has is the correct part. I wonder if you have a top glass for a Slant top maybe??? I don't know, but it should cover almost the whole area. Yeah you won't need the set chip for this. But if you're like the rest of us more machines will follow. And a newer model S+ will probably need it then. Good luck.

He has the top box that originally contained the player tracking stuff.  So he will need the bracket that was used for player tracking hardware.  My roundtop S+ uses such a bracket, so it does exists and should be able to source it.

Would anyone have a picture of what the player tracking hardware looks like?  There is a large plug in the top box that isn't currently plugged into anything.  I am assuming that is what plugs into the tracking hardware?

So it's the same size glass (15") with different top box dimensions? Makes sense, thanks.
