Paul on mine I downloaded the PSR for the particular SP chip and went to the appropriate menus to make changes. I say that because on one I'm using an SP1137 and it sets up differently than most. If you are not changing denominations or enabling a bill validator, you shouldn't need a set chip. Make sure there are no credits on the machine but most chips are very similar. If you are doing a b/v enable only, use a set 15. Will work for almost all chips. If an S+ is new to you, and you don't know the SP chip number, open the door with power on, and push the test button until you get a 4 showing in the coins played window. 2 numbers will be flashing the Sp and The SS chips. Then follow the PSR.
