I think you will be happy with that decision. The DBV-200 gives you bill insertion from all 4 possible ways and has software that came along later in time so it is more likely to work with a larger number of bills that are in circulation now.
Keep in mind the DBV-200 uses a little more elec power, so the BV power supply in your machine may need to be upgraded also. It is the black module mounted near the bill validator, just to the left. The original bv power supply may work ok with the DBV-200 but often it doesn't. To tell the difference, the higher power models of bv power supply have slots for heat vents in the cover, the older less powerful power supply had a solid cover, no vents. Your machine may already have the better bv power supply with vents.
