Sorry, I've replaced the spring, however something is missing when the coin drops into the shute, it doesn't get rolled down into the lower part of the shute.

 Where does the coin end up? Post #2 you state that the coin gets stuck. Can you post a photo of the stuck coin? Or mark the location?


 Does the diverter paddle (that your put the spring on) move back an forth when the hopper bowl is depressed activating the hopper full switch?

Inside the shute is a opening that is flat, no way to push the quarters without an attachment to roll them further down the shute.

The coins fall thru the "chute" via gravity. There are no other parts that push the coins. Below is a photo from one of my games not the same model but, close. Maybe there is crud or a sharp piece of sheet metal causing the coin to hang up.
