IGT S2000 and Ithica 850 Printer

I bought an IGT Triple Double Stars 3-reel that didn't have a printer in it.  I installed an Ithaca 850 printer and connected the 10-pin Molex connector to the NETPLEX Printer socket on the backplane board.  I have done both key and clear chip to the machine and when I try to enable/disable the printer in the configuration menus, the display immediately goes to a "Configuring NETPLEX screen, then flashes back to say "Printer disabled" again.  The printer shows no signs of getting power, even when doing the paper load and advance procedure.  Not sure what I am doing wrong.

You need a key chip to enable the printer. It doesn't plug directly to the mother board. Is it a top box or reel shelf printer? Pics would help.

Sorry, I don't have a picture available at the moment.  It is a reel shelf printer.   I have done a clear chip (97) and key chip (17) reset but after enabling the printer in the menues… the machine just defaults back to "Printer Disabled"

Thank you VERY much!  I found the connector dangling right where your pic show it to be...connect the printer and it powered right up... now, I just need to figure out the post-key chip settings to get it to work right... Thanks!
