How many I-Games on one 20 amp circuit?

Can anyone tell me how many I-Games (with LCD monitors on all of them) I can run on a single 20 amp circuit?

It's best to measure their actual usage.  With a 120VAC 20A circuit you have a maximum wattage of 2400w.  For continuous usage it's best not to run a circuit over 80% of it's rated maximum so that leaves you with 1920w to work with.  With 17" LCDs you're looking at roughly 150w/machine sitting idle, maybe more with a topper, less with LED tubes.  At 150w you could run 12 machines (12x150w = 1800w) pretty comfortably.

The machine could also draw more in use.  If you have hoppers installed, they wouldn't normally be running but you'd still want to factor that power usage in your calculations.  You can get a Kill A Watt meter for $20 or so and measure the usage of each machine with it.  That would be the best and safest way to get your answer.

Thanks Tilt!  I'm not going to run more than 7 machines, and plan on replacing the fluorescent tubes with edge-lit LED, so it sounds like I should be fine.  Glad to know I don't need to wire another circuit!
