Title partially describes what's happening... lol

SB000329 Cash Advance Vision. Last 4 #'s of CRC is "6615".
Correct SG pairs are unknown...I tried several pairs of SG chips.
BGM000101 PCMCIA card appears okay - has all the required files intact.
Several Version chips tried.
Test machine runs any Vision game installed perfectly.
( For the heck of it, I threw back in my Muster Match game chips w/PCMCIA BGM flash card to check if anything is messed up and it runs charmingly.)

The display never gets further along than "System Error"when
trying the above set -up for Cash Advance game...forget about getting as far as "MSVerify"...

What is the right combo to get this puppy going?

From what I can find it's a type 37 game. SG0000248 supports it and a few others too. SG248 requires ATA10065 (or it's replacement). It appears to be a single denomination game so it needs VS011CX0, VS011GX0, or VS011NX4. I have files for SG248 if you need them.

I've tried several pairs of SG's but I don't remember using 248's.

SG248's need vs9gxo. Try using a BGM128 with SB329 and I bet Good Times comes up

Ahhhhh 248's.... my chip of choice for Vision... good call Jim... 248''s and vs009gx0 , along with ATA 10065 ... that combination will work for ANY Vision game...

OK. I'm using SG248's, SB000329, VS9GX0, ATA 10065, BGM00101 and still getting a system error.

Weird thing is everything works with the SB 000283, 3 coin chip.

Bad SB000329?

From what everyone is telling me, the SB000329 is really made to be paired up with BGM000128 "Good Times".
The Cash Advance topbox card (BGM000101) we're fiddling with should be paired up with SB000306 (2 coin?) or SB000331 (3 coin?) in order to work.
Apparently some lists floating around are different - SB000306 & SB000331 are the ones we need for Cash Advance.
I'm asking around to get the right components to see if I can get it running for ya.

Mississippi gaming commission approved software list shows SB000329 is Cash Advance. IGT Master excel spreadsheet that is floating around says it is good times. I'd tend to believe the Mississippi list since it's an official document, but I suppose that doesn't exempt it from errors either though.

There has also been bad SB files that have been passed around in the past and a whole bunch of people had the same bad file. Maybe 329 is one of them?

Yeah, that's what it shows in the IGT Master List that someone made up. I know there are errors in it.

The IGT Master list is what I want to try and fix....but add more columns showing matching BGM's, SB's, SG's, Version's, and DSV's.

Look at the bottom and click on BGM, SS, ST, SB. It is all there, assuming it is right. It was shared with me around 10 years ago and I have found it good. Never doubted it until now.

Yes...I agree with you that most of is pretty darn good really.
I have just always found it sort of incomplete somewhat.
I'm working on it tho....guys are sending me all sorts of lists and I'm just filling in some of the blanks.

Hopefully with all our knowledge over the years, we'll get it filled out.

Okay...I just threw the SB000329 chip in my GQ-4X programmer.
I see "Type 0, Bonus 37" in the file of the chip as well as nine different % payouts written into it from LS011564 all the way up to LS011573.
Only other thing I see in the ASCII is that it was made in 1999.

Can anyone verify if these payout sheets are for "Good Times" or "Cash Advance" ?

Well since Good Times is a Type 0, Bonus 40 it's safe to say that 329 is not Good Times.

Cash Advance is Type 0, Bonus 37 as confirmed by the PSR for the BGM for it. The IGT Master listing is WRONG.

According to the Mississippi gaming commission document that I posted part of above 306 is Good times and 311 is Pink Panther. The only thing they list for Cash Advance is 283 or 329.

This document from IGT shows 283 and 329 for Cash Advance as well.

Guy's, I am so sorry. All these years I have treated this list like a Bible just to find out it is flawed. I can't count how many times I have shared it. I always felt very knowledgeable about Vision slots. Guess I needed a reality check. Thanks. I have never played Cash Advance. Is it a fun game?
