Upgrading 3902 to 044

I believe I have all I need to do the upgrade...
044 backplane
044 motherboard (hope I named these correctly)
legacy board (I don't have flash software yet)
key 40

Before I get started I wanted to consult the fine people here at NLG to ensure I haven't missed anything and properly handle the swap.
From what I understand, it should be as simple as removing the 3902 tray, swapping the 3902 backplane for the 044 backplane, and sliding in the 044 tray with the legacy board and software then going through the set up steps with the key 40. Am I close? Like always, It'll probably turn into a headache but hoping not this time.

Backplane=motherboard
What you are calling the motherboard is the MPU board.  When switching backplanes one connector will have to be turned upside down, you will see.  Yes key40 should work with legacy adapter.  Have fun. :yes:
