Hello All,

I'd like to thank you in advance for your help. I hope I'm in the right part of the forum. I bought this from Kijiji (Canadian Craig's List) and would like to use your expertise to identify the correct board and the clear chips I would need to attempt the install into the machine. I've googled serial numbers but I'm not totally sure. If someone could lead me in the right direction? Appreciate the help!

It is a s or Splus game board
Can you take a picture of the front of the machine and post it

It is a Splus
Since it does not have a volume knob is is a 16mg board.
What is wrong or what are you missing.
Do u have the tray that that board sits on?

Yes I have the tray with the power supply on the corner.

I'm looking to purchase a board and clear chips as I from what I understand I need when I swap the pic chips from current board to the new one. I'm not a technician by any means but have some computer knowledge... and in my 40's lol.

I would also like to upgrade the JBM bill acceptors to accept the newer Canadian bills as the few bills I have are getting well worn. I'm up for the challenge on this if I could flash these as well.

I own the Ten Times Pay Deluxe, two Game Makers, a Game King,,,, and a couple of Asian ones..... lets just say I need the other ones fixed! whatever help your willing to give, I am grateful!

Sorry,

I replaced this "Sensitive Triac" or semiconductor (brought the board into a local electronic shop) it was burnt out before... they didn't have the exact model number but matched it to same output but different manufacturer. Worked for maybe 2 months then went down again. I'm thinking the replacement of a new board would be my better option. I'll send a picture of the current state of the machine after this post. Lights are on but no action on the machine.

The fluorescent lights run on a different line [115 vac] .....MPU board is dead...explains why no lights in the display panel.

I'm sure slots4home can fix ya up with a new board!

With the machine on do the reels spin freely? If yes their is a cluster of wires that go from the power supply to the mother board or backplane board and when you wiggle the white end do the reels lock up?

reels don't spin, bill acceptor does make noise but then stops.

yes, I can move the reels freely.

If you can move the reels freely with the machine on wiggle that white plug and see if the reels lock up

Does the white plug have any burn marks?

Specifically this one that connects to the motherboard on the bottom of the machine. You'll have to remove the coin hopper to see it.

Ok, yes it is burnt.... I was confused to the connection.

That's the one. It may be the cause of your problem. Remove and install it a couple of times and then see if your machine will boot up.
